Eligibility Details
- must be a citizen of india and must be resident of Bihar.
- having bachelor degree with minimum 50% marks and for SC / ST / Extremely Backward Classes / Backward Classes / Divyang / Women and Economically Weaker Sections will be given a relaxation of 05 percent in the minimum prescribed marks.
- passed D.El.Ed./ B.T./ B.Ed./ B.Ed./ B.Sc.Ed./ B.El.Ed from recognized institution.
- For teachers appointed after the year 2012 or after, it will be mandatory to pass the teacher eligibility test (शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा) and for teachers appointed before the year 2012, it will be mandatory to pass the proficiency test (दक्षता परीक्षा).
Important Note:- Teacher Eligibility Test means the eligibility test to be conducted by the Government of Bihar or an institution authorized by the Central Government for appointment to the post of teacher in class 1 to 5 and class 6 to 8. (शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा से का मतब है , बिहार सरकार अथवा केन्द्र सरकार द्वारा प्राधिकृत संस्थान द्वारा वर्ग 1 से 5 एवं वर्ग 6 से 8 में शिक्षक के पद पर नियुक्ति हेतु आयोजित होने वाली पात्रता परीक्षा ।)
